Sdu publishes professional information for the Dutch legal, government, and financial sectors. I started by focusing on optimising e-commerce journeys and conversion performance across sdu.nl, introducing Contentsquare as the foundational analytics layer to create visibility into user behaviour and friction points. This established a data-driven optimisation practice within the marketing team and informed all subsequent product and platform decisions.

Based on these insights, I initiated and led a site redesign and replatforming journey. Working in an agile squad of six, we migrated to a headless Contentful CMS with a Next.js frontend, delivering the first phase within three months. This resulted in a 36% improvement in page load speed and measurable gains in Web Core Vitals, with direct impact on conversion performance. The redesign also aligned multiple business divisions into a unified digital experience and go-to-market approach.

From there, I expanded my scope into a broader Commercial IT transformation programme, taking ownership of the e-commerce and product-led growth roadmap. In this role, I worked closely with enterprise architects, marketing, and external development partners to design and implement a composable MACH architecture. We validated and introduced product-led growth journeys within new SaaS-based offerings, connecting content, subscription, and transactional flows into a unified commercial platform.

I also led the rollout and adoption of Contentsquare across marketing, defining the measurement framework, enabling team training, and embedding behavioural analytics into ongoing optimisation of content, merchandising and acquisition strategies.

Across the programme, I translated technical and architectural decisions into clear business cases for non-technical stakeholders, including presenting outcomes at company-wide transformation kickoffs to secure continued investment and alignment across divisions.
